Well, I thought I'd venture further into Ubuntu ....
I'm using Linux as my primary OS now (still dual-booting just in case - but finding I have to jump back to Windows less and less).....
Anyway, I thought I'd try using TweetDeck.
Adobe have a nice shiny beta version for Linux distros.....so I dutifully downloaded Adobe Air and Tweetdeck, following instructions all the way.
However, al I got was a blank TweetDeck screen presented to me - icons along the top bar, but nothing else.....
Luckily I stumbled across this web site:

If you are having issues with TweetDeck and Adobe Air, follow the instructions on there and you may be happier.
It certainly worked for me.... TweetTweet !
